frequently asked questions.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes! We are accepting children, teens, and adults.

How can I get an appointment?

You can request an appointment online and someone will be in contact within 24 hours to schedule your appointment. You may also contact us at (443)803-7062 to request an appointment.

Do You Accept Insurance?

We do not participate with any insurance. However, we are considered an “out of network” provider for our psychiatric mental health care services. We will provide you with an “insurance receipt” of your services that you can submit to your insurance company to get reimbursed. It is important to check with your insurance that they provide “out of network” coverage. We will work with you to make the reimbursement process as simple as possible.

Why don’t you take insurance?

We want to be able to provide the best treatment for our patients. Many insurance companies have extensive rules and regulations that limit the care that we can provide. Insurance often dictates which medications we can prescribe, how often we can have appointments and many other details that can be a burden to the patient. By not being under the constraint of an insurance company, we can offer greater appointment availability, shorter wait times, and we can make ourselves available more often. Even better, we will make sure that the medication prescribed is the best one for you- not just the one the insurance company will allow!

How do I get reimbursed?

On the day of your appointment, you will pay with cash, credit, debit or check. After you do so, we can provide you with an insurance-friendly receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We will help make the reimbursement process go as smooth as possible.

Do you accept payments from a health savings account (HSA)?

Yes! We accept HSA debit cards as a form of payment. We can also provide you with a receipt of services to submit for HSA reimbursement.
